Nelson Glass & Mirrors, founded in 1993, is a glass and mirrors processing company operating out of a 3000sqm factory in Killarney Racing Park, Cape Town. Nelson Glass is a family business run by Fabio and Renzo who are actively involved in the factory. We offer you a one-stop shop for your entire glass cutting, polishing, bevelling, toughening and sandblasting needs. We have been using Pastel Partner for many years to do our Quotations, sales orders and Sales Invoices for our glass factory.
Because of the complex way the glass cut industry functions Pastel Partner could not calculating the quotes as our industry requires. The Length, width, thickness and type of glass all have an influence on the end result the customer will pay for the job to be done. Glass can be left ruff, polished, edged and so on as Nelson Glass grew and mistakes in quotation calculations stated to cost us money we looked for other software packages to do the job for us but could not find anything worldwide that fit in with our needs. That is when we found Novtel Software; Novtel developed an invoicing module that calculates each quote 100% accurate in seconds. The specialised invoicing system did add value to our company and we are extremely happy with Novtel's performance as a software developer and supporting us in the product.
